Software Engineer - Human Factors

Job Description

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define and implement innovative graphical user interface solutions and software prototypes to support collaboration in the Mission Command and Cyberwarfare domain.
• Review and incorporate as appropriate previously developed wireframes
• Ability to present designs and incorporate feedback from stakeholders
• Develop automated test scripts and code coverage reports to support software development work
Required Skills
• BS in Human-Computer Interactions, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
• 2-4 years developing wireframes and user interface prototypes
• 2-4 years Java/JavaScript development experience
• Knowledgeable in latest UI trends, techniques and technologies
• Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and prototypes
• Experience with InVision software product to develop wireframes and graphical user interfaces to support wireframe development
• Ability to work in a team environment and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with automated test tools/DevOps tools; 2-3 years Mission Command experience and familiarity with Mission Command networks, systems and capabilities; Experience with Cyber SU or Cyberwarfare a plus
• Active DOD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
• 2-3 years Mission Command experience and familiarity with Mission Command networks, systems and capabilities
• Experience with Cyber SU or Cyberwarfare a plus
• Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript for rapid prototyping, Java and JavaScript frameworks such as angular JS for initial demonstration to support prototype development a plus

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Normal office setting, therefore the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking. Use of hands to operate computer equipment. Frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
