JOB DESCRIPTION

SOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a SMT Subject Matter Expert to support the Regional Cyber Center CONUS in Army migrations to Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Become well versed in facets of the DoD JRSS network architecture and/or the Network Modernization CONUS(NETMOD - C) LAN Architecture
  • Be part of a team responsible for multiple aspects of network migration from the Legacy Army distributed TLA architecture to the regionalized  architecture of JRSS
  • Ability to research, evaluate and develop standards relating to SMT operations and utilized technologies
  • Previous experience with complex layer 3 routing which involves MPLS and VRFs
  • Understand BGP, VRF, VLAN, MPLS, VPN and load balancing technologies
  • Experience with firewall, Army Top Level Architecture (TLA), and LAN/WAN migrations
  • Previous knowledge of Government cyber security standards
  • Highly tuned network troubleshooting skills with DoD network policies
  • Ability to multitask multiple, simultaneous migrations and provide required deliverables
  • Excellent time management and documentation skills
  • Support after-hour ASIs as necessary (overtime pay provided)
  • Works well under time constraints and pressure
  • Ability to provide creative solutions to complex issues
  • A proven track record of reliability and consistency in work performance
  • Provisioning application, controlling access to applications, troubleshooting internal and external connectivity
  • Troubleshoot network issues and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues in a timely manner
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • HS +  8 or AA/AS + 6, or BA/BS + 4 years technical experience that includes Cisco router, switch and firewall experience at an SME level
  • IAT II (Security CE, CCNA - Security, SSCP) at hire
  • CEH required within 60 days of hire
  • Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a T5 (SSBI)
  • Cisco CCNP at hire
  • 30% travel required in 1 week intervals
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Palo Alto Firewall or Cisco ASA administrative experience a plus
  • Several years of network routing and firewall experience in complex environments
  • 8 years + WAN management experience
  • Cisco ASR 9000, MPLS,  and VRF experience
