Site Manager-Community Planner

Job Summary
The Site Manager (SM)/Community planer plans and manages task order operations, provides direction to DI employees and subcontractors, and is the direct on-site point of contact with the Government. The SM coordinates evolving task order requirements with the AFCAP IV Program Manager and Program Management Office (PMO).
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract)
  • Manages task order to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations, including cost, quality and schedules
  • Acts as the point-of-contact for task order matters with government personnel and DynCorp on-site and corporate teams
  • Coordinates and/or approves local operating and personnel actions, policies and procedures within the generalized framework of overall corporate guidelines
  • Responsible for operational functions including safety, security, and labor reporting
  • Ensures adherence to established standards of individual performances and site discipline
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
  • Experience supporting and administratively managing construction, maintenance and operations at US Government installations
  • Knowledge of US Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD) contract and task order processes and procedures
  • Knowledge and expertise managing DI contract and task order management
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Experience & Education

  • U.S. military experience desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or engineering. Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred

    Minimum of 10 years’ experience providing operational and project management of US Government contracts

    Real Property experience (10 years if the site manager or construction manager) and be capable of providing assistance in Installation design services including determination of space utilization requirements and management of real property databases and associated records.
    • Physical Requirements/Working Environment

      • Willingness to travel and work in various locations in the world
      • Willingness to work shifts and extended hours in support of 24/7 operations
      • Good physical condition
      • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
      • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
      • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.


      • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
