Signals Analyst / Processor

Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community

Job Description:

Raytheon is looking for a Signals Analyst to perform signal analysis and processing to produce technical data to a variety of mission customers. These job functions will be conducted in a real-time operations environment and the resulting data reported real-time to the customer community. This individual will utilize sophisticated Digital Signal Processing equipment to preform these daily task. The position requires the Signals Analyst to quickly identify complex waveforms and various forms of modulation, to determine signal structure and the appropriate method for signal processing. Additionally, the Signal Analyst will be required to perform task as a Technical Advisor to the customer, conduct Database maintenance, provide OJT, conduct system Trouble shooting, and assist with Anomaly resolution.

Required Skills:
  • Requires two or more years work experience performing Signals Analysis in an operations environment.
  • Requires two or more years work experience performing Digital Signals Processing operating environment.
  • Must be willing to work minimal 12-hour shifts, rotating through days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Requires US Citizenship.
  • Requires an active or current (active within the last five years) TS/SCI SSBI Security Clearance.
  • Requires ability to satisfy requirements for a TS/SCI SSBI security clearance.
  • Requires current CI Polygraph
Desired Skills:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in, or knowledge of, any/all of the following areas: Signal analysis, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), web-based applications, real-time operations, and resource configurations is highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills and team orientation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with local management and remote personnel.
  • Ability to work in a high stress environment that demands foresight and strong technical skills.

Required Education (including Major):
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in an applicable or technical subject plus two years of related work experience, or ten years of equivalent work related experience in place of degree
