Key Role:
Provide linguistic capability focused on human intelligence (HUMINT) and signals intelligence (SIGINT) issues to support an intelligence-led mission. Leverage knowledge of Farsi to produce high-quality translations, provide quality control of others' translations, support the execution of SIGINT collection requirements and signals development, comprehend and leverage SIGINT data and information, analyze and identify data requirements, use specialized SIGINT tools and services, and develop SIGINT products. Execute senior-level briefings and meetings to provide context and subject matter expertise to key decision makers. Contribute to productive information sharing and analytic outreach and leverage expertise in developing collaborative relationships with members of the intelligence community (IC).
Basic Qualifications:
-4 years of experience with SIGINT linguist duties
-Ability to show professional-level proficiency in Farsi and English and perform at Interagency Roundtable (ILR) 3/3 or above in listening and reading
-Ability to produce client ready, time sensitive products and reports per client requirements
-Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required
-BA or BS degree or 8 years of experience with SIGINT linguist duties
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with HUMINT and SIGINT collection
-Experience with national agency reporting, database, and translation tools, including Greebo, HOTSPOT, HOTZONE, Human Language Technology, VoiceRT, or ZYMURGY
-Experience with supporting military forces
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including writing high-quality intelligence assessments and briefings for senior-level government officials and members of the intelligence community
-BA or BS degree in International Studies, Politics, Security Studies, or a related field
-Completion of formal HUMINT or CI tradecraft training
-Completion of formal SIGINT training, including reports writing or tasking and collection
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
