Job Description

ASRC Federal is actively seeking an Office365/SharePoint Analyst to join our team and support a government client in Denver, Colorado.

RESPONSIBILTIES

The successful candidate will assist in the adoption of Microsoft Office 365 (O365) Platform Service as the central office productivity suite (replacing Google's G Suite) as well as assist with the migration of client Microsoft SharePoint sites from the current version (SharePoint 2010 hosted on-premises) to the cloud-based SharePoint Online. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Guide and support the implementation of O365 Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, One Drive, Publisher) and other O365 collaboration applications (Teams, SharePoint, Delve, Forms, PowerApps, Teams, Flow, Azure Information Protection, etc.);
  • Provide guidance on best-practices and governance when implementing O365 applications;
  • Align O365 applications with business processes to enhance efficiency and usage;
  • Assist in defining security requirements (including access rights) for O365 sites and sub-sites;
  • Provide SharePoint page design and workflows recommendations and documentation. Page designs shall comply with government web-page standards, as well as meet accessibility requirements defined in 1998 Section 508 amendment to the Rehabilitation Act of 1973;
  • Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support of the Office 365 Government G3 platform.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree -- Computer Science or Technical degree preferred -- (At least six years of relevant work experience in lieu of a specific degree would be acceptable)
  • At least two years of experience as an O365 or SharePoint analyst/administrator
  • At least four years of experience as an IT business or systems analyst

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience supporting Office 365 and associated applications.
  • Solid understanding of how Microsoft Active Directory integrates with SharePoint and O365.
  • Experience using Share Point hub sites.
  • General knowledge of SharePoint user groups and O365 groups.
  • Experience with using Information Rights Management (IRM)
  • Strong user knowledge of the Office 365 productivity suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype/Teams, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with an ability to communicate to various audiences, including customers, other staff members, and management.
  • Ability to multitask with strong time management and organization skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

Desired Skills:

  • Microsoft Office 365 or SharePoint certification (MSCA: Office 365 cert desired).
  • Experience administering Microsoft SharePoint 2010 (and higher) and SharePoint Online (via Office 365).
  • Experience as an IT business or systems analyst.
  • Experience with ASP .NET, HTML 5, APEX, and/or JavaScript programming.
  • Experience working in an ITIL environment. (ITIL v3 certification highly desired.)
  • Government contracting experience desired. Candidates with a current Public Trust security clearance highly preferred.

The successful candidate is subject to a U.S. Federal Government background investigation and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust or higher.
