Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Continuity Program Sharepoint Developer supporting DISA’s COOP program at Ft. Meade, MD.

POSITION SUMMARY:
DISA requires support to the evolution of the COOP program by providing a SharePoint Developer with extensive experience in the area of web design, collaborative automation, and site collection design. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of a DISA wide COOP SharePoint.
•Utilize capabilities employing advanced Cascade Style Sheets (CCS) and Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML).
•Leverage Java scripting and jQuery knowledge to develop customer code. 
•Create dashboards for statistical reporting and collaborative automation. 
•Follow DISA knowledge management standards to develop content workflows and manage all workflows from design into operations.
•Standup and lead a SharePoint Working Group for the development of all websites and related efforts.
•Translate complex/technical requirements.
•Engage and communicate directly with all stakeholders on the scheduling of activities, project issues, and organize meetings to keep projects on track.
•Deploy collaborative designs and graphics through the use of SharePoint tools interactive capabilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•BS degree in Computer Sciences (or equivalent based on training/experience) with 8+ years of related experience to include web development using HTML, CSS, and content management systems.
•Strong oral, written, interpersonal and organizational skills.
•Ability to explain technical details and issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences and be able to clearly and concisely explain systems concepts and problems.
•Ability to lead projects by coordinating and prioritizing objectives. 
•Expertise with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, etc).
•Expertise with SharePoint Development, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
•Experience using jQuery, Client Object Model, and Service Oriented Architecture.
•Working knowledge of SharePoint Framework, Office 365 development, and JavaScript Libraries.
•Experience with SharePoint’s application services framework including implementation, configuration, and usages of Search, Managed, MetaData, and User Profile Services.
•Must have a commitment to deliver high quality solutions.
•Must demonstrate a sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently and proactively in achieving team and individual objectives.
•Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance to start on the program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  
•Experience with DISA.
•Experience with continuity of operations (COOP) processes.
•Certified as a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer On SharePoint.
•Experience with Disaster Recovery processes and testing of DR plans and procedures.
•Understanding of FISMA and DoDI 8500.01 system security requirements.
