Phacil, a By Light company, is hiring a SharePoint Administrator to join our team supporting a Government customer in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities
Provide continuous web site and web page design, development, maintenance and administration for Intranet, Extranet, and Internet for NIPERNet, AKO and public (.com and .mil) web environments
Support and maintain customer SharePoint web interface
Provide custom web-based applications for the SharePoint farm
Review web sites and pages to ensure IA and Privacy Act compliance and ensure web link integrity
Implement and verify compliance with Section 508
Make recommendations for Website improvements based on findings from site statistics
Report on Website statistics such as number of visitors, unique visitors, times sites are most frequently visited, entry pages, exit pages, length of time on page referrers, etc
Provide standardized web graphics support and create and maintain social media sites as required by the customer.
Required Experience/Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related field
Any IAT Level 2 certification
Ability to obtain ITIL V.3 within 6 months of hire
3-5 years’ experience with SharePoint/SharePoint Designer/SharePoint Administration
1-2 years’ experience creating and maintaining social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn OR 5-7 years’ experience in a related environment with commensurate SharePoint and Designer skills
Knowledge of IT and Database Administration
SharePoint with Designer and/or Administration
jQuery/JavaScript/HTML/CSS
Web page design, development, testing, analysis, maintenance, and training
Adobe design Premium
Social Media Implementation
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge management systems, technologies, processes, methods and techniques
Strong understanding of programming languages and graphics software
Ability to gather technical requirements for the design of web page layouts and ability to accurately convey recommendations to team members and customer
Willingness to work in a teaming environment and support of other skill sets as required
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
Secret clearance required
No travel required.
Work is performed on government site. Employees will work in close proximity with Government personnel.
Core work hours are 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday except holidays.
Support will be provided outside of core hours during the following times:
1) in support of Fiscal Year-End processing, usually the last two weeks of Sep.
2) During no more than four scheduled user tests per year;
3) in support of quarterly implementation of new code releases;
4) when required to resolve problems resulting in software application.
