Service Desk Administrator, Mid

The Challenge:
What if you could use your hardware and software skills to improve the technology supporting DoD Cyber? With so much relying on complex systems, a skilled systems administrator can be the difference that makes a project successful. We’re looking for a systems administrator with a solid background in remote and onsite network and computer infrastructure support to help us sustain a DoD Cyberspace defense program.
 

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll prioritize, coordinate, troubleshoot,  resolve, escalate, and track system issues and outages. You’ll help customers overcome the challenges that come with virtual desktop infrastructure with DevOps tools like Chef and Puppet. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify opportunities for automation and improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you guide your clients through migration planning and implementation. This is an opportunity to gain experience in operating within a virtual environment. You Have:
-4+ years of experience with IT service desk support
-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Certification Level II Certification or higher

Nice If You Have:
-Ability to obtain IT Service Management (ITSM) or IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation v3/4 Certification
 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
