Service Delivery Technician

Job Description

The CDM Program is managed within the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and is responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks. CACI, Inc. Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Business Group has immediate openings for a Service Delivery staff with a technical foundation in Cyber Security to support the CDM DEFEND A Program.

The Service Delivery Technician functions core contributor in a matrixed team. You’ll align with a Service Delivery Manager to develop a deep understanding of your assigned component’s technology environment and build strong relationships with their key technical staff. You’ll drive the tailoring of standard cyber capabilities to align with the customer’s unique needs and environmental constraints. You’ll also be part of a larger cyber security architecture and design team who researches new technical solutions, leads pilots and proofs of concept, and supports development of CDM reference architectures. Leveraging your strong written and verbal communication skills you’ll build and maintain excellent relationships with our customers ensuring CACI’s customers remain delighted with the solutions we provide. The high level of interaction with clients, employees and management along with the variety of skills required make being a service delivery technician a fit if you're an outgoing problem solver who works well in a team, enjoy serving and delighting customers, and have a technical background in Cyber Security and Information Technology.

There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Secret clearance.

More About the Role:

  • Develop technical understanding of one or more DHS Component (DHS HQ, TSA, ICE, CBP, FEMA, USCIS, USCG, FLETC, S&T, CISA, OIG) Information Technology and Cyber Security environment
  • Work collaboratively across CACI’s capability architecture, engineering, operations, and service delivery teams.
  • Efficiently facilitate and expedite the reporting of all customer events, customer issues and concerns, and perceived customer risks
  • Work with other Team members to ensure an effective and efficient service delivery management system for a Federal government customer.
  • Responsible for tailoring cyber solution capabilities to assigned customers

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and be clearable to a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) EOD clearance. 
  • There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. However, as a requirement of continued employment in this position you will be required to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security required and 7+ years related work experience
  • A broad background in a variety of cyber security technologies and solutions to include architecture, engineering, and technology administration roles
  • Ability to understand technical specifications, system requirements and other application design information as needed to understand customer requirements and potential solutions for those requirements

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, Security+ or GSEC
  • AWS or Azure Certifications
  • Have a solid understanding of how to market technical services and produce on-contract growth
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships customers
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions at a variety of levels
