SEPI Event Support Management - IRES - SAFB

Systems Engineer-III to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Mission Planning Element (MPE)/Mission Execution Element (MEE) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), Schriever AFB, CO. Ensure MDA users and tenant activities do not adversely affect the execution of ongoing tests and exercises. Assist with gathering requirements from event customers and ensuring overlapping event requirements are de-conflicted. Review forecasted engineering packages for anticipated work in order to identify schedule conflicts and collaborate extensively with activity owners and event customers to mitigate potential impacts. Function as part of a cohesive team, responding to fast-paced changes from internal and external forces, and delivering a high-quality product on schedule. Assist in development of event work products and participating in schedule gate reviews to ensure MDA/IC-provisioned systems and services will be available for upcoming events and real-world ballistic missile defense operations support. Participate in MPE and MEE meetings in order to identify methodologies for expanding and evolving Event Management and provide quality event support to the customer.

Requirements: Must consist of one of thefollowing combinations: High School diploma or GED with 12 years of generalexperience; or Associate's degree with 10 years of general experience; or BSDegree and 8 years general experience with 6 years of relevantexperience; to include 3 years of management or leadership experience.

· Must be able to read and comprehend Department of DefenseArchitecture Framework (DoDAF) System View-2 (SV-2) event drawings,usually in Visio to ensure customer requirements are properly identified,incorporated, and displayed

· Working knowledge of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) best practicesand documents used to identify and track event resources

· The best practices will include Requirements Traceability Matrix(RTM) and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM)

· Familiarity with network topologies and how trace data flowsbetween locations, BMC Remedy ticketing system in order to research break-fixtickets for potential impacts to events

· Performing deep-dives into closed tickets to gather pertinentinformation regarding outages.

· Familiarity with DISA circuits and network concepts

· Must be a US citizen with an active Secret Clearance upon hire


Desired: In-depth MDA knowledge organization and systems/networks. Certification in International Council on Systems Engineering/Associate of Systems Engineering Professionals (INCOSE ASEP), Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (Cisco CCENT), and Cisco Certified Technician (Cisco CCT).
