We are seeking a talented System Lead Infrastructure Systems Engineer at our Cityline/Richardson, TX location. Raytheon System Engineering Team is looking for a Lead Infrastructure Systems Engineer on the CMP program. As an Infrastructure lead SE you will be a part of a diverse team of systems, Hardware, Platform, Software, and integration & verification (I&V) engineers to deliver key capabilities to the CMP program.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Accountablity for all Systems engineering design and ownership of Infrastructure functionality associated with the CMP program throughout its full lifecycle (Requirements/Analysis/Design/Implementation/Test)
• Ownership and serve as point lead for requirements on a cross-disciplinary team of Infrastructure Hardware, Software, Networking, Platform and Database Engineers
• Technical oversight of capabilities associated with CMP's Infrastructure of common layer application Services, system monitoring and management, archive & purge, DBMS and Security Services
• In support of overall CMP capabilities, interpret Requirements Specifications including flow down of system-level requirements from RFCs, conformance with CONOPS and architectural descriptions of the capabilities. Provide inputs with regards to financial budget’s, staffing and work load for contractual bids
• Lead Design team and manage design documentation based upon agile methodology of M2C2 Infrastructure capabilities, features and use cases
• Lead design reviews and documentation discussion of infrastructure design artifacts. Serve as technical board chair and provide coordination as well as problem resolution between program stakeholders
• Produce technical white papers for opportunities and means to minimize program risk. Influence and contribute to technical management areas including risk by providing program level status for Systems Engineering
• Support the definition and estimation of ISC work packages related to a Program Increment
• Report regularly on progress, complete all required training (program or functional on time)

Clearance Requirements:
Must be a U.S. CITIZEN with an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)


Required Skills:
• Demonstrated engineering experience with proven track record in systems design, documentation and reviews of infrastructure capabilities
• Experience with complex infrastructure projects on ground and communication systems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with all levels of management and individual contributors on the program team
• Strong Systems Engineering with a focus in infrastructure hardware OR software development background
• Understanding of software development lifecycle models and program lifecycle modes
• Proven written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
• Experience in preparing executive management level briefings
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools, particularly Excel, Project, and PowerPoint


Desired Skills:
• Lead Systems and/or Software Engineering experience for Infrastructure on a large government software development contract
• Experience with software development, installation, and integration activities
• Experience in DOORS requirements management and IBM Tools Suites
• Experience in integration, and/or verification and validation
• Experience in SE process development and deployment for Agile and Raytheon EPIC
• Experience in Operations including: procedure development, training, transition planning, installation, and deployment
• Qualified Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist or equivalent


Required Education:
10 years with a BS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math or related technical degree; 8 years with a MS in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math or related technical degree
