Senior Systems Analyst

Job Description

CACI is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst on a large Navy program.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Responsible for facilitating the process to collect and define client requirements for programs support Military Sealift Command (MSC) business systems.
  • Provides advice and recommendations on process best practices. 
  • Performs analysis on business or systems processes to identify improvements. 
  • Works with clients to understand and define needs and develop and recommend solutions. 
  • Interacts and communicates with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel. 
  • Produces functional design specifications based on user requirements. 
  • Maintains deep knowledge of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications (e.g.,  Oracle Business Systems, Navy ERP) as well as current MSC business systems.
  • Performs configuration and designs functional solutions (e.g., reports, interfaces, workflows, and extensions) for specific application and third-party systems.

      • DHAMS
  • Coordinate with all competencies across the program
    • Engineering
    • Security
    • Database
    • Testing
    • Training
    • Operations
    • Deployment
  • Provide weekly updates to the Program Management team for all systems to include
    • Schedule
    • Risks
    • Major Accomplishments
    • Financials

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering or related degree program; or current IT certification with sufficient technical experience to substitute for the formal education requirement.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in supporting software development
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, promote customer service and handle complex technical issues
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with MSC Business Systems
  • Strong oral communication skills and experience briefing senior management on technical issues and problem resolution
  • Experience with managing projects over $2,000,000 a year

  • 5 Years Experience supporting Military Sealift Command
  • Experience in Logistics, Engineering and Financial Business Systems
  • Secret Clearance
  • PMP Certification
