Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager for Resilient Energy Systems.

In this position, you will build effective multidisciplinary teams across technical disciplines and support functions as appropriate to enable successful management of project scope that is typically broadly defined and that requires use of innovation and technology development and/or deployment to be successful. Work scope may include but is not limited to power systems, systems engineering, unmanned and robotic systems, data sciences, advanced manufacturing and resilient energy systems.

You will represent the collective capabilities of EES&T and INL primarily to external customers and directly interact with clients and stakeholders on both current and future programs and projects as needed.

You will also be a key technical contributor and/or project lead for programs for national security sponsors (DOD, DHS, Intel Community).

Close coordination is required with relationship and line management leads from the INL National & Homeland Security Directorate.

Areas of focus include:
- National security relationship and research

- Research needs analyses and strategy for key programs

- Assessing research quality and progress for key programs

You will develop and enable the collaborations and partnerships needed for EES&T to achieve its vision of an assured and adaptive energy systems that strengthens national security and economic prosperity.

Work will be performed with a large degree of self-initiation but is at a level that actions may have high visibility internal to laboratory leadership and with external stakeholders.

You will strategize and roadmap development and implementation for INL capabilities and initiatives to support national security sponsors.

You will also manage indirect budget allocation.

Education: Master of Science degree. Preference given to candidates with an MBA, as well.
Experience: 10 years. Preference given to candidates with a demonstrable track record of creating and securing funding opportunities.
