Senior Network Management Support - Team Lead

Job Description

GDIT is seeking candidates to support the US Army Regional Cyber Center – Europe. The USARCC-E’s mission is to operate, manage and defend the European and African portion of the Army’s NIPRnet and SIPRnet. The RCC-E provides Information Technology (IT) services and network operations to the Joint Information Environment (JIE), insuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the information and systems used in planning, coordinating, directing, controlling, and sustaining military forces. This contract supports USAREUR, USARAF, USEUCOM, and USAFRICOM missions with robust, reliable and secure information systems support.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The RCC-E Senior Network Management Support Engineer – Team Lead:

  • Is responsible for the management of voice, video, and data communications networks
  • Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the management of all Army networks in Europe via Spectrum and other tools.
  • Utilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical personnel assigned at Network Management Team Lead.
  • Is responsible for managing very complex networks. Directs daily staff and task activities to meet customer objectives.
  • Supports unclassified NIPRnet, and classified SIPRnet networks.
  • Serves as a liaison with customers to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.

Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.


Desirable Skills / Experience:

  • 10+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience
  • active Secret Clearance                                                                                                                 


  • Required: DoD 8570.01-M IAT III Security Certification: (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
  • Required: CCNA, JNCIS or equivalent. 
  • Required: ITIL certificaiton
