Senior Logistics Analyst

  • Direct availability and allocation of materials, supplies and finished products.
  • Maintain and develop positive business relationships with a customer's key personnel involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.
  • Stay informed of logistics technology advances and apply appropriate technology to improve logistics processes.
  • Plan, organize and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis and test equipment recommendations.
  • Develop an understanding of customers' needs and take actions to ensure that such needs are met.
  • Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination or provisioning of samples and the minimization of obsolescence.
  • Develop and implement technical project management tools such as plans, schedules and responsibility and compliance matrices.
  • Direct team activities by establishing task priorities, scheduling and tracking work assignments, providing guidance, and ensuring the availability of resources.
  • Develop proposals that include documentation for estimates.
  • Review logistics performance with customers against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.

  • The Senior Logistics Analyst shall have 3 years of DoD/DHS related Aviation Supply and/or Aviation Finance experience
  • Proven track record in problem solving and analytics to include procurement forecasting and budget management.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and derive root cause for discrepancies
  • Implement and sustain project controls on the procurement lifecycle to include routine reporting and analysis of historical data
  • Strategic thinker who can operate in a high stress, multi-faceted environment with multiple internal and external customers.


Physical Demands:

This classification’s activities range from, an office-like environment with extensive sitting demands to a flight line-like environment with extensive climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands. May occasionally be required to lift objects whose weight exceeds 30 pounds. Special vision abilities to perform this job are close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment:

The diversity of work conditions may range from an office environment where there is little or no physical discomfort to a flight line environment where inclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards.

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other computer-based system as required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • May be required to have a security clearance and passport in the performance of duties.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Minimum BA Degree in Management/Procurement related field (experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree or supplement an alternative degree)
