Summary:

CNSP is looking for a Senior Intelligence Analyst whose functions as a part of a Warfighter Support Reach-Back Fusion Cell comprised of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of AFSFC analytical requirements and serves as a senior analytical advisor on an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of the AFSFC analytical requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis on aspects of cultural, religious, political, geo-political, military/social/ behavioral science and perspectives on governance and development. Efforts result in documentation, recommendations, briefings, reports and other products to assist in the resolution of difficult and complex problems.
  • Compare data, identify discrepancies and flag suspect findings.  Review intelligence data and make recommendations. 
  • Identify sources for intelligence data and incorporate them into the data stream.
  • Advises on how to improve data, conclusions and processes.
  • Analysis, reporting, data basing and dissemination of Combatant Command and Major Command measures of stability, which include security, governance and development, Human Terrain Analysis.
  • Prepare provincial and district assessments and Campaign and Mission Ana lysis briefings and annexes, High Value Individual Targeting products, Extremist and Regional Threat Network Nodal Analysis,
  • Prepare Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Assessment Metrics which include  daily IMINT, SIGINT and HUMINT products to gauge the effectiveness of collection operations; 24/7 Indications & Warning activities and operations; and all-source exploitation of documents and media from detainees.
  • Research, develop, present and publish all-source intelligence products at the tactical, operational and strategic level related to Military actions, insurgent activities, economic and political activities, and threats to regional stability as part of an overall analytical team.
  • Assist with the analysis and production of various intelligence products, and supply analytical support for senior Military leaders.
  • Attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on current events and long-term trends that could influence the Government's mission.

 

Supervisory/Management Authority:

  • This position may have supervisory or management authority as delegated.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Candidates must be US Citizens
  • Candidates must have an active and current TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Candidates will undergo a US federal government background investigation and must be able to favorably pass a drug screen.
  • Candidates must have as a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as intelligence analysis, counter intelligence, international relations, and related post graduate military studies.
  • Due to the nature of the work required to be performed in this position, TDYs may be required (locations (CONUS/OCONUS) and duration) and are not known until the specific requirements are identified (i.e. Desert Defender (Ft. Bliss, TX) and other locations as determined by AFSFC).
  • Minimum of 10 years analytical experience, as a general military intelligence, Cl/HUMINT or Counter-terrorism Analyst on an Intelligence Analytical team of military and/or civilian analysts within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with five years at the strategic level or five years in CI/CT/HUMINT or GMI analysis.
  • Demonstrate experience in the following analytical areas: Middle East, Southwest Asia, and Northern Africa regional analysis, Geo-Political analysis, Intelligence Collections, and C1/HUMINT analysis.
  • Proficient in utilizing g basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
  • Possess strong briefing skill s and be capable of effectively directing subordinate analysts in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • The Senior Intelligence Analyst is responsible for researching, developing and presenting post-graduate level intelligence  products at the operational and strategic levels for senior leaders, to include counter-terrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, counter-intelligence , Combatant Commands and Major Command issues, HUMINT, political / military analysis and support to targeting. 
  • Additional work requirements include: SCIF and JWICs access, TDY's (number of TDYs, location and duration) are not known until the requirement is identified by AFSFC to travel to other agencies and access to their SCIFs and JWICs terminals and SVTC's, and couriering up to TS documents between SCIFs at least within the JBSA classified communities.
  • This position is responsible for all-source intelligence analysis related to counter-terrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, counter-intelligence, Combatant Command and Major Command region al issues, political/military analysis and support to targeting.

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily performed in a secured federal and/or military installation office setting, a controlled office environment as well as working outside in a field environment.
