Senior Intelligence Analyst Level IV (OSINT)

Senior Intelligence Analyst Level IV (OSINT) Job Description:
The Senior Intelligence Analyst Level IV (OSINT-Open Source Intelligence) shall assist National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) and other Intelligence Community (IC) analysts/agencies in planning, preparation, coordination, and dissemination phases of NGIC production.
Tasks include:
  • Produce NGIC QUIKTELs, white papers, RFI responses, PowerPoint presentations, briefings, or other projects.
  • Use intelligence analysis tools to collect, store, and process open source data.
  • Identify significant intelligence trends, and propose new or revised analytical efforts to alert leadership to developments and to meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with counterpart analysts, collectors, and leaders throughout the NGIC, DoD, and the IC to facilitate the exchange of all source intelligence information as necessary in fulfillment of formal NGIC production.
  • Guide junior analysts using IC Directives (ICDs) and research and analysis tradecraft during assessment production.

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and ten (10) years’ experience as a Senior Analyst on US Army or DoD intelligence analysis programs.
Required Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience conducting open source and classified research and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with IC, Army, and academic/institution partners in support of mission requirements
  • Demonstrated experience preparing recommendations and enhancing open source tradecraft and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) in support of a Government or Private sector customer
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
Desirable Experience:
  • Foreign language proficiency in Arabic, Farsi, or Russian
Current Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance required.
Essential Functions
Work Environment
Work will be performed inside a large facility. Work assignments vary based on client requirements. Position could require some night and weekend work. Travel is required to various CONUS and OCONUS non-hazardous locations based on client requirements.
Physical Requirements
Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone.
Equipment and Machines
General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Work assignments dependent on requirements by the client. It is important to be able to work at least 8 hours a day for 5 days per week (Monday through Friday).

Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace. Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-pressure environment. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of government, military and contractor personnel at all levels. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Grooming and dress usually business casual, but dependent on client’s standards. Must not pose a safety hazard to employees working in the same general area.
