Title: Senior CI and Insider Threat (InTh) Support Specialist
Clearance: TS/SCI CI Polygraph
Location: Bethesda, MD
Responsibilities
• Provide CI and InTh training and briefings using a variety of techniques, e.g., facilitation, instruction, lecture, tailored, individualized or for large groups, at any of the ODNI facilities/locations.
• Actively maintain knowledge of current trends, issues, policies, and vulnerabilities of current and evolving technologies that create a potential CI or InTh concern; use this knowledge to regularly produce finished materials for the ODNI.
• Review existing business processes for ODNI components; identify potential vulnerabilities and provide a range of mitigation strategies that align with corporate CI standards.
• Participate in component meetings to improve the CI posture for the activities being discussed.
• Support outreach and foreign liaison activities by using existing and defined protocols to research, analyze and vet the outreach contacts.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders to monitor foreign travel requests, determine compliance with counterintelligence requirements, notify travelers and raise any CI issues for appropriate resolution.
• As directed by the corporate CI staff, provide support to investigations of matters related to CI and InThs.
• As directed, support and complete other ad hoc responsibilities in order to assist the CI program office with meeting its mission, goals, and obligations.
• Provide a weekly report of accomplishments toward performance of requirements, as identified by the corporate CI staff.
• As directed by the corporate CI staff, serve as technical team or task leader and participate in special projects.
• Support will be for McLean and Reston areas
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as a CI or federal law enforcement professional, providing CI, InTh and operational security guidance and assistance.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing CI and InTh training and briefings to senior audiences.
Adaptability and agility in operating independently. Ability to represent enterprise or corporate equities.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate professionally across all levels of an organization and to produce quality finished products.
• Thorough understanding of the federal rules, regulations, IC directives and standards, and policies that encompass the CI discipline and InTh Program.
• TS/SCI w/poly
Desired:
• Formerly Credentialed CI or federal law enforcement professional.
• Experience working as part of a field office.
• Experience with foreign liaison or outreach activities.
• Demonstrated experience with the full suite of MS Office products.
• Instructor certification.
• Experience as a CI professional in the IC.
Work Schedule
• You are required to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Core work hours are 9:00 am EST to 3:00 PM EST.
