We are looking for an Senior Principal Administrative Generalist (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will serve as site lead overseeing the day-to-day operation for the Business Services Group at the Palmdale Facility in California.


This position represents organizational unit on administrative matters. Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures. Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as finance, human resources, purchasing, research and development. May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.


The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties in a Service Center and Technical Library.Research, reproduce and archive engineering, scientific and business documents/drawings to verify accuracy and appropriateness of material required for data processing, engineering, manufacturing and production related operations. Maintain internal records and catalog, validate, distribute, and audit engineering publications, technical orders and configuration documents. Review output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance toquality standards and specifications. Assist records management with archiving and retrievingrequested records.Assist Program Office with RFQ Proposals and graphics team with preproduction and execution of proposals.


Mail room duties is required of the candidate that will be responsible for the coordination and distribution of U.S. Postal Service mail, business and company correspondence, inter/intra-company. Must be highly committed to delivering top notch customer service and precision quality document reproduction on a tightly managed production schedule. Able to review complex and diverse customer requests for engineering plotting orders and manage each job from start to finish, including file preparation, plotting/printing, scanning, file management, coordinating projects with other departments, and providing bindery services.Changing paper rolls and toner and performing basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

  • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. and able to stand for long periods of time. Overtime including evening and weekend support may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years' or a Master's Degree with 8 years experience in an administrative role.

  • 5 years of Project management or Operations management including managing projects from start to finish, file preparation & management and coordinating projects with other departments.

  • MS Office experience including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and using large databases.

  • Ability to effectively communicate/interface with multiple levels of leadership, colleagues and vendors.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand or walk for long periods of time.

  • A current DoD Secret or Top Secret level security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation, or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Special Program Access

  • Experience with Bindery services

  • Experience operating reproduction devices - Printing, plotting and scanning.
