Senior Acquisition Analyst

Job Description

CACI International Inc. has an available Senior Acquisition Analyst role in the Washington, D.C. area.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provide high level contracting support to Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare Systems (IWS 8.0)
  • Must be able to develop acquisition packages for   procurements in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Must be able to create, review and update: SOWs, contracts modifications,  Acquisition plans;  solicitations, procurement requests

More About the Role:

  • Analyze contract performance, incentive fee structures, and draft procurement requests
  • Assist with Baselines Development in preparation of acquisition, program and system lifecycle management documentation.
  • Plan, identify, organize, prioritize, and execute tasks as a task lead Support drafting of Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Plans (AP), or Single Acquisition Management Plans (SAMP) to support future contract initiatives.
  • Draft, review, and update Statement of Works, Determination and Findings, Memorandums, Source Selection Plan, Performance Incentive Plans, Contract Deliverable Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Reports, and other acquisition related documents.
  • Support Administration of funding for cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and firm-fixed-price multiple-year contracts; track invoices, funding obligations, and payments.  
  • Prepare Contract Briefings, Acquisition Milestones, Document Adjudication review document and organize functional meetings for procurement assessments.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 7 to 15 years of directly related experience in a government administrative or contracting environment
  • Ability to apply knowledge of the defense acquisition requirements
  • Education & work experience maybe adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience
  • Ability to work and be flexible in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarization on the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Navy-Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS). 
  • Ability to develop and modify program related Microsoft Excel spreadsheets & use MS products
  • Active Secret+ security clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Combat Systems Background (LCS COMBATS-21)
  • Familiarization with Littoral Combat Ships (FREEDOM & INDEPENDENCE Variants)
  • Experience in the Navy Procurement System (SPS)
  • Supported a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) with maintaining contract administration (CLIN funding, contract modifications, monthly reports, invoices, data management (CDRs) & Technical Instructions)
  • Completion of acquisition training, education, or certifications, including Defense Acquisition University, DAWIA Certification, or membership in the Acquisition Corps
