Summary:

TheScheduler/Program Analyst willprepare Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) products in accordance with industrybest practices utilizing the Microsoft Project tool. The Scheduler/Program Analyst ensure schedules are resource-loaded,contain predecessors/successor relationships, depict a critical path, alignwith the program/project work breakdown structure (WBS), and indicate status ofeach task for implementing NGA’s new Business Enterprise Systems organization.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Manageand maintain a WBS-based IMS for programs/projects through utilization of theGovernment Furnished scheduling software MS Project
  • Participatein IMS reviews of risks and issues
  • Coordinatewith the program teams with respect to maintenance of the IMS by providinginput and maintenance of the IMS as required
  • Collaboratewith the teams in determining the impact of proposed changes to projectschedules, project operations, resources, software configurations, andmodifications
  • Reviewall outputs of draft/final schedules for completeness and technical accuracy
  • Manageschedule and coordinate tasks amongst Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)/WorkingIPTs (WIPTs)
  • Ensureeach program/project IMS encompasses all deliverables and resources requiredwithin the scope of the project
  • Ensuredependencies are properly integrated into the IMS and that a critical path canbe identified
  • Ensureactivities are included for all disciplines and support functions
  • Ensureinclusion of all program documentation requirements
  • Relateschedules to the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) clearly defining when all tasksstart and finish
  • Manageand maintain the IMS daily
  • Manageand deliver weekly IMS status reports
  • Managescheduled activities to complete program or project objectives
  • SubmitSchedule Management project deliverables upon Government request
  • Otherduties as assigned

MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree desired, Master’s preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, preferablywithin NGA
  • 3+ years of experience in developing andmaintaining an IMS for a large program
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with theability to pass a Counter Intelligence Polygraph

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Microsoft Project Certification preferred
  • Strongcommunications skills (both written and oral)
  • Strongcustomer service and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Abilityto listen and understand what is being described by the end user as well as theability to explain problem resolutions when necessary
  • Abilityto work independently without direct supervision or guidance
  • Abilityto meet minimum security clearance requirements
