Schedule and Risk Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support project management efforts for complex client engagements on some of the largest acquisition programs in the DoD. Interface with clients to analyze the development of key program artifacts, including Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Risk Registers. Gather, organize, visualize, and interpret large data sets and communicate meaningful findings to enhance client decision making as a member of a team. Develop dashboards and PowerPoints to communicate data analysis findings. Provide the client with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it. Leverage critical thinking and problem-solving expertise to solve clients' most challenging problems.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with DoD program management for ACAT programs

-Experience with risk management, including identification, quantification, analysis, and controlling or monitoring

-Experience with statistics, including stochastic analysis

-Experience with developing resource loaded schedules or earned value management

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

-Ability to gather and assess client data and communicate priority findings to teams 

-Ability to interact with clients and work within a multi-stakeholder and matrixed organizational environment

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

 Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing, managing, and integrating large project schedules and performing critical path analysis using Microsoft Project

-Experience with Microsoft Access

-Experience with math or statistical analysis, including stochastic methods and Monte Carlo simulations

-Experience with supporting DoD acquisition programs

-Ability to support programs and contracts within the federal government

-Ability to learn data science or data visualization tools, including R, Tableau, Power BI, and Python

-Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations

-Ability to quickly learn project management basics, including schedule, cost, risk, and stakeholder management

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills   

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Engineering or related field

-PMP Certification
