Northrop Grumman isseeking a highly-motivated PC Network Support Technician to join our Suffolk, VA STRAP team supporting our US. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) customer. This is a Service Contract Act position.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for computers and associated networks.
Install, troubleshoot, service, and repair workstation and equipment.
Deliver personal computer, hardware, and software support.
Create, maintain, and troubleshoot present and future computer network hardware and software products.
Responsible for the setup, maintenance, and upgrading of networks devices. Will maintain user accounts in the Active Directory.
Accountable for reviewing all workstation audit logs.
Provide assistance to network engineers, as need by the Program.
Candidate must be a United States citizen and shall be of sound character. During the pre-screening process, candidate shall be screened for and must pass the following - SSN Trace, Nationwide Federal Criminal 7-Year Background Check, Nationwide Felony and Misdemeanor 7 Year Scope, National Criminal Locator, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Reference Verification.


Required Qualifications:


High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 4+ years of hands on experience maintaining PCs and Network devices.
Knowledge of installing, troubleshooting and repairing computer workstations and network equipment to include hardware and software.
CompTIA Security + certification.
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite.
Must possess or be able to obtain a favorable adjudicated CBP Background Investigation (BI).
Requires the ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated DoD Secret security clearance.


Preferred Qualifications:


Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
Experience using/maintaining McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (EPO).
Experience using/maintaining Tenable Nessus (ACAS) security scanner.
Experience implementing Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)
Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Experience using INFOR Enterprise Asset Management system.
