We are currently seeking a SCA Electronics Maintenance Technician 2 to join our growing team in Warner Robins, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
Perform visual and mechanical inspections
Troubleshoots equipment to determine cause of malfunction
Disassembles, repairs, and test using applicable technical drawings
Understand and test equipment per approved procedures
Interprets drawings and parts lists
Cleans, inspects, and handle precision optics
Maintain and repairs test stations and shop equipment
Assists with station alignments
Utilizes common electronic test equipment, lifts, test fixtures, and hand tools
Documents fixes using multiple software suites
Supports projects and meetings to improve processes
Coordinate and support movement of equipment
Maintain thorough records of asset movements, history and audits
Conducts inventories of assets and updates associated software
Interacts and maintains good working relationships with internal/external customers
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and 2+ years experience in electronic repair environment
- Must have or be able to obtain a U.S Department of Defense (DOD) secret security clearance
- Must be able to work multiple shifts
- Able to work independently with limited supervision
- Able to change physical locations based upon need
- Able to wear proper safety gear, such as steel toed shoes and safety glasses
- Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work off verbal instructions
- Experience working in technical field
- Computer skills including proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with test station usage and operation
- Experience with PMEL / MCF, and Calibration
- Excellent record keeping skills
