SAP Manufacturing Systems Analyst 5

Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services 1ERP group has an opportunity for an SAP Manufacturing Systems Analyst 5 (MRP/Manufacturing/Quality Application Analyst/Systems Integration professional MM, PP modules and SmartMES) who is an energetic, self-starter with extensive knowledge and experience in converting customer requirements into systems solutions. This position can be filled in El Segundo or Palmdale, CA and Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Performs as an internal consultant between the customer and technical community around SAP MRP/Manufacturing/Quality Management and MES shop floor solutions and integrations
  • Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, configuring, testing, debugging, and installing tosupport an organization's business needs and application systems
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning/Shop Floor Systems
  • Responsible for the functional requirements definition, solution design, implementation, and maintenance of systems/applications
  • Works with users to analyze/configure/tailor applications to fit their needs
  • Writes requirements documents, design documents and test procedures for applications
  • Works with developers/end users to design applications that best meet user requirements
  • Works with developers/end users to develop and implement unit and system testing processes
  • Assists with testing efforts and work with users to ensure appropriate testing is completed
  • Provides coordination between end users, developers, and production control to complete required project
  • Functions as technical lead for large scaled recurring/non-recurring initiatives as required
  • Leads change management activities related to the SAP/MES/CPLM integration and software migration needs
  • Leads recurring/existing customer base and new project initiatives


ESCSO

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or related with 14 years' of relevant experience or a master's degree in computer science, information systems or related, combined with 12 years' of relevant experience
  • US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Experience in application development and maintenance, including technical and managerial positions for both the unclassified and classified environment
  • Experience in end-user interaction, system analysis, project planning and management, problem identification/resolution, system testing and implementation
  • Experience with ERP implementations that included manufacturing, supply chain, shop floor, logistics, global trade services, contracts, billing, data reporting, and accounting solutions
  • Experience leading large and small non-recurring projects, application/hardware upgrades, and recurring maintenance support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active secret or top secret clearance
  • Ability to effectively work in a team, with colleagues located throughout the country
  • Ability to work multiple projects within assigned priorities
  • Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
