Salesforce Mid Developer (REMOTE)


Job Description: 

Create new user information solutions by designing, implementing and maintaining Java, Salesforce, and Mulesoft development components and interfacing within a Scrum team. Contribute to the entire System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by assessing functional and technical requirements, performing high-level and detailed design activities, writing testable and efficient code in support of those designs and testing completed implementations for functional and technical compliance prior to deployment. Update, maintain and add functionality to Salesforce and Mulesoft components interfacing with preexisting Java-based information solutions.

  • Decompose user specifications and technical designs provided by application architect's to assign and monitor coding tasks within a Scrum team
  • Lead and document the results of peer code reviews
  • Create SDLC-mandated project and product documentation
  • Debug and resolve application and data issues
  • Mentor, coach, and develop Scrum team members

  • BS degree (4 years experience in lieu of degree)
  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • At least 1-3 years of Salesforce development experience
  • Excellent team player in a diverse culture who displays the ability to work under pressure



  • Oracle Certified Associate Java SE x Programmer Certification
  • Salesforce Certification
  • Desire and ability to act as a mentor/coach

  • Mulesoft ESB platform development experience delivering applications and APIs

  • Mulesoft Anypoint platform development experience

  • Experience with different frameworks such as Spring

  • Ability to consume open and/or private API's, such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Workday Posting Statement

  • Apex and Visualforce page development

  • Experience with SOQL/Work Bench/Developer Console as well as Lightning component/design development

  • Experience working in a Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such as Eclipse or Mavensmate

  • Experience with SOAP or REST
