RSS Material Program Manager Lead

Raytheon is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager Lead (MPM) for a classified programs located in Dallas, Texas in support of the RSS Product Line. Candidate will need to be a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills and be directly accountable for ensuring overall program execution of materials management, ensure program success to cost/schedule/quality, and manage supplier performance in meeting program needs. Candidate must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal management, including supplier management. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
  • Working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting production program needs and requirements
  • Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
  • Generating Supplier Request For Proposals / Quotes (RFQ’s / RFP’s) / Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW’s)
  • Gate Review preparation and/or support
  • Supporting Prime Contract Proposal activities for Suppliers and SCM BOE’s
  • Identifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications
  • Assisting in obtaining, understanding and processing Supplier proposals/quotes
  • Generating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
  • Generate and manage in SCM Material Sales objectives
  • Identifying and managing Risk & Opportunities
  • Accountable for timely Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placement and management
  • Line of Balance (LOB) execution and maintenance. Responsible for mitigation of non-supporting material
  • Lead Make/Buy decisions and affordability efforts for program material
  • Assist and/or Lead negotiations on Material with Suppliers and/or the Customer
  • Preparing and executing Material Program Plans (MPPs)
  • Generating mitigations and/or resolving issues impacting/effecting all of the above

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in either Supply Chain, Program Management, or Operations
  • Current, Active DoD Secret Clearance is required
  • Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, MRP, receiving, cost estimating, and finance
  • Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management
  • Experience in preparation for, or support of negotiations with suppliers
  • Meeting commitments, accomplishing goals & delivering results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of internal management
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Desired Skills:
  • MBA degree
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Raytheon or similar Six Sigma Specialist
  • Able to coordinate strategies and manage tactical execution
  • General understanding of working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
  • Working knowledge in translating customer terms and conditions into supplier requirements and reviewing statements of work for completeness and conformance to program requirements
  • General understanding in managing technical requirements to a schedule and budget

Required Education:
Bachler Degree in One of the Following Areas: Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering-General or Industrial, or Operations
