Raytheon CSM is seeking a Release Engineer to collaborate with the customer to package, build, test, and deploy releases into production using DEVOPS methodology
Responsibilities Include:
Deploying, installing, and implementing software upgrades at CONUS, OCONUS, and other Government specified locations.
Build releases, optimizing delivery of software products and updates
Identifying and implementing ways to improve the uptime and performance of products
Coordinating release validation, testing, and evaluation.
Proposing release schedules
Deploying releases
Required Skills
Minimum 10 years’ experience with package, build, test, and deploy releases into production using DEVOPS methodology.
**Must have a TS/SCI with CI Poly-current**
Demonstrated proficiency
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Rancher, Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes
Experience with IT automation tools such as Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet and Chef
Understand how to automate builds as part of continuous integration environment
Experience designing and implementing a cross-platform CM framework
Experience with configuration, administration and operation of a CM repository such as Subversion, Git, Clearcase,
U.S. Citizenship
Experience and/or technical understanding of customer mission space
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with DevOps Software Lifecycle
Familiarity with enterprise software deployment including monitoring, managing, scaling
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field or related experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
