Quality Assurance Specialist (DAWIA II SPS/PD2)

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
To support the Army Expeditionary Contracting Command, CACI is seeking qualified professionals to apply for Personal Services positions as contracted Quality Assurance Specialists to support a DoD Contracting Office in Qatar.

The positions require the successful applicant to provide quality assurance support for any or all stages of the quality management process. Generally, Contracting Officers will assign projects and will require all necessary support, by working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government customers in a team environment. The government requires assistance with reviewing quality management plans, inspecting contractor quality control, inspecting contractor compliance with contract requirements, developing and revising Quality Assurance Surveillance plans, performing data collection, performing data analysis, identifying trends in contractor performance, identifying trends in risk rating contracts/ services, and verifying quality, schedule, and/or technical aspects of contractor claims. Knowledge of FAR Part 46 / DFARS 246 and other applicable regulations, policies and instructions is required. The work required involves exposure to highly sensitive information of the Department of Defense (DoD) and associated contractors, therefore, a stringent conflict of interest clause is included.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Requires at least DAWIA level II certification in Production, Quality and Manufacturing (PQM), or equivalent professional certification, and at least three (3) years of government contract quality assurance (FAR Parts 37, 46, 52) experience. Must have experience using SPS Procurement Desktop-Defense (PD2). A Bachelor's (or higher) degree (in any field of study), with at least 24 semester hours in accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is preferred.

The clearance level required is dependent on the type of clearance supported by our client.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
-Must be able to carry and wear the personal protective equipment issued by the DoD required for the duty location.
-Normal demands associated with an office environment (e.g., ability to work on computer for long periods, communicate with individuals by telephone, email, and face-to-face).
-Besides travel to duty location, some local travel may be required to visit vendors, contract sites, requiring activities, etc.
