Responsibilities |
Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is seekingapplicants for a Quality Assurance Inspector for the Specific ManufacturingCapability (SMC) project. The successful candidate will be responsible forinspecting high quality manufactured product and receiving inspection ofmaterial while ensuring quality activities are in compliance with DOE, Company,and Customer requirements. Support the Quality Assurance organization byassisting with development of quality inspection plans and in-process training.Provide quality inspection service by using M&TE and work to approvedinspection plans. Be able to communicate with procurement agent and or vendors.Become familiar with precision measurement equipment including dial indicators,micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, etc. Work towards qualifying to operateautomated/PC controlled inspection equipment. Provide continuous improvementopportunities such as worker and equipment interface and increased productionefficiencies. Must be well organized and proficient with Microsoft Office (Wordand Excel) and other databases such as Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and AssetSuite. Assemble quality inspection packages and scan completed quality documentrecords. |
Minimum Qualification Requirements (Education and/orExperience): TS0100 High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant experience. Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L clearance andSMC security briefing. Special Requirements and/or Training: Background, training and experience in inspection, document control, records, assessments and/or other key QA Program elements. Mechanical or Dimensional experience preferred. Capable of obtaining INL Basic Inspector certification. Radworker II qualification. | ||
