Quality Assurance Engr I

Are you ready to begin your professional career as an engineer with Raytheon IDS? Our Mission Capability Verification Center at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), NM is searching for a new college graduate to join the Quality Assurance team to provide QA support to the mission test operations within the areas of design, development and analysis activities. Our quality and engineering organizations use state-of-the-art tools, processes, technology, and Raytheon Six Sigma principles.

Job Description:
Our new college graduate will contribute in the review, design, and analysis of processes, technical documentation, and product/mission execution. This includes QA support with the design and development of non-tactical test equipment hardware, including circuit card assemblies, associated firmware and software; tactical equipment integration, verification, and validation activities; development, reporting, and analysis of metrics; and the planning, execution, and review of product line missions.

Additional responsibilities include working across disciplines and providing ad hoc support to organizational and program requirements as needed.
Occasionally work long hours and/or the weekends and travel to various locations and remote sites to support program and organization requirements. Adhere to the Safety, Security and Quality Management programs to protect and enable our workforce, and produce the highest quality test equipment and mission results.
Will assist in providing quality assurance support to simulated and live fire mission operations at WSMR and other locations with tactical equipment such as radars and launchers.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as within 30 days of employment.

Do you have these Basic Qualifications and Required Education?

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Engineering, Systems, or related Engineering or Computer Science discipline.
· GPA of 3.0 or higher ·Basic knowledge of engineering principles, analog / digital design, and test / measurement equipment.
·Basic knowledge of measures and metrics, statistical techniques, and analysis methods.
·Ability to obtain a secret clearance within 30 days.

U.S. Citizenship is required.


Desired Qualifications:
·Knowledge of circuit / equipment design (e.g., schematic review, layout, part fitment)
· Knowledge of C/C++, Android, or other programming languages in support of code reviews· Knowledge of industry standard test equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, coordinate measurement, mechanical measurement tools, and logic / spectrum analyzers in support of measurement and troubleshooting.· Knowledge of process flow diagrams.· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.· Ability to analyze, conduct problem solving, multi-task and meet deadlines working in a team environment across multiple disciplines. · Ability to lift and carry 25+ lbs. · Existing secret clearance.
