Quality Assurance Analyst

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Quality Assurance Analyst supporting ETM, you will be trusted to review and evaluates information technology (IT) infrastructure and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Reviews and evaluates L2/L3 installations on IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Participates in establishing quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.
  • Develops and implements software/systems testing standards, procedures and conducts tests.
  • Document and analyze test results, and make recommendations to improve overall quality.
  • May be responsible for testing purchased third-party software and/or services to ensure that company standards and end-user requirements are met.
  • Assists with project planning activities associated with network engineering projects.
  • May provide quality-related training.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • QA/QC on all circuits/systems installed in the PATCF/PPTCF/NPOP/SPOP/Telecommunications Rooms for which JSP has operations and maintenance purview
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Control Plan that will ensure installation quality meets or exceeds all requirements, and provides a record for acceptance of the work performed.
  • Generate QA Status Reports for bi-weekly and monthly government deliverable
Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.

Qualifications
  • 5 years of related quality assurance experience or other technical discipline.
  • Active Secret Clearance (must be TS SCI eligible)
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in quality assurance and software engineering.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.
  • Understanding of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Ability to review, test and evaluate the work of others
