PTL Material Manager

Job Duties and Responsibilities

ManTech International Corporation is looking to hire experienced personnel to support our U.S. Government Agency customer in multiple locations CONUS or OCONUS.  This position will require the chosen candidate to currently possess an active DOD – Top Secret Security Clearance.
 
LOCATION :   Varied CONUS and OCONUS locations.
 
The qualified candidate will look to work closely within a team environment.  They must be able to demonstrate the ability to articulate well, be extremely tactful and reserved when in communication with all levels of leadership and will be assigned multiple complex projects that will directly impact their program by managing projects from start to finish.
MUST HAVE an active DOD – Top Secret Security Clearance for customer consideration.
MUST obtain a pre-deployment DoS Medical Clearance upon hire. 

 
Description/Duties:

Provide logistical support for all levels of the PTL program to include planning current and future PTL system/hardware requirements in order to ensure consistent operation and availability. Perform the processing, packing and shipment of PTL systems and fly–away kits. Assist the testing vendor of repaired items to verify that they are operational prior to returning said items to the field. Identify replenishment requirements for PTL hardware. Use Diplomatic Security work management system (currently CMMS/ILMS) to track and manage assets and other materials. Work with other technical teammates to input and process Bills of Material and Purchase Requests using the Diplomatic Security work management system, and route them for approval. Deliver equipment to State Department Logistical Operations Center (LOC) located in Springfield, VA.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Must possess an active Secret security clearance. Bachelor’s Degree and five years of experience, or High School Diploma plus ten years of experience is required. Must have expertise in large-scale logistics. Familiarity with tactical tracking operations is a plus. Minimum 5 years professional work experience in a military or government environment is required. Ability to communicate and coordinate actions effectively with individuals at all organizational and management levels, including other agencies outside of the Department. Knowledge of Government procurement systems is desired.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite of products including, Word, Excel, Access and E-mail business software. Must demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team. Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and have strong attention to detail. Must possess excellent writing and verbal skills.

Travel Requirements:

May be required to travel OCONUS to facilities in critical threat locations around the world with austere living conditions. Domestic travel may be required for training and program coordination.
