Summary:

The ProjectManager (PM) has responsibility for planning and managing projects for theUS Department of State Domestic Security Installation Services contract. The PMwill ensure all projects are delivered in adherence to project scope,schedules, and budget. The PM is responsible for exercisingleadership, maintaining high morale, and directing the performance of allpersonnel assigned to the PM’s Team. The PMwill communicate with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), GovernmentTechnical Monitors (GTM), Chenega Supervisors and Team Members frequentlyregarding the overall performance and status of all projects.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge and understanding of AACShardware, intrusion detection, CCTV equipment and public address systems
  • Maintaina working knowledge and understanding of electric principals
  • Possessthe ability to use diagnostic equipment/software and establishedtroubleshooting techniques to isolate network deficiencies, equipment failuresand operational anomalies
  • Readand interpret electrical and electromechanical schematics and architecturaldrawings
  • Readand adhere to blueprints and installation design plans for the installation ofsub-level devices (i.e. patch panels, junction boxes) and head end equipment
  • Readand understand component level schematic diagrams for systems, equipment anddevices
  • Identifyappropriate cables from drawings and running cables/fiber per installationdesign plans
  • Planand manage project scope, schedules and budget
  • Manageall project resources
  • Procureand track project materials
  • Demonstrateability to work independently
  • Identifyand manage project risks
  • Attendall required meetings, conferences, and working groups
  • Provideeffective mentoring, counseling, and discipline for all Team Members
  • Communicateeffectively with all project stake holders
  • Demonstrateeffective oral and written communication
  • Manageup to 10-15 personnel
  • Otherduties as assigned

MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)

  • BS/BAin relevant field preferred, not required, or a minimum of 5 years relevantwork experience required.
  • Incompliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verifyidentity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete therequired employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
  • Secretclearance required, plus ability to obtain Top Secret.
  • PMPcertification preferred, but not required.

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • PMP certificationpreferred
  • Mustbe proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiencywith Software House CCURE and CMMS preferred
  • Knowledgeof Xtec Readers, Delta Scientific Barriers, Panasonic CCTV, and EngineeringSystem Design CCURE required a manner that gets others' attention

  • The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.
  • During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
