Project Manager/Scheduler

Responsibilities:

The individual selected for this position will support the customer's Chief Architect's Programs, which is responsible for elevating technical analysis functions by integrating the science and technology data environment and enabling mission management through data-driven feedback. The Chief and Deputy Chief seeks a responsive, resourceful, and efficient individual to provide integrated master scheduling for the projects and programs of the Chief Architect's Office. Specifically, we are looking for someone with strong communication, interpersonal, and tracking and monitoring tracking skills.

This project manager will be responsible to create/maintain the Integrated Master Schedule for the C/Arch and overlay all three teams (SIO, SDO, MB) FY activities to ensure mission success. The selected individual will be responsible for working closely with the Requirements POC to ensure all requirements are accurately reflective in this overall schedule. Additionally, the position will be responsible for consistent and timely communications with briefers to ensure their presentation material is available for review by senior leadership prior to the meeting. This position is aligned to the Architect Team and will support SIO, SDO and MB Teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Work closely with Program Management to develop and maintain detailed Agile-type schedules for high visibility program
• Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule by taking all stakeholder requirements and available resources into consideration
• Support program management in the tracking, analysis and reporting of stakeholder projects/programs
• Identify major milestones, decision points, project lifecycle, dependencies and other project events
• Perform project progress monitoring to identify critical activities
• Monitor potential scheduling constraints and issues related to multiple dependencies
• Develop and maintain summary level schedule reports to be provided to Program Management
• Develop schedule version control processes, policies, and procedures and ensure that they are followed
• Work in collaboration with Program Management and stakeholders to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project reporting
• Assist Program Management with evaluating schedule impacts
• Assist in defining and implementing management processes and procedures regarding scheduling conflicts/changes
• Facilitate and participate in periodic schedule reviews; create bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external oversight boards in conjunction with the Acquisition SI the Requirements Project Manager

Qualifications:

Proven experience using MS Project to manage an integrated master schedule and supporting details schedule(s) for agile program/projects.

Demonstrated experience in use of MS Project, Excel and Office

Proven ability to multi-task and work independently; self-starter

Demonstrated experience to interact with customers, external stakeholders and program managers in a highly matrixed environment. Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong interpersonal and empathy skills

Organizational, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively complete tasks

Demonstrated on-the-job experience exhibiting oral and written communication skills to include giving briefings/presentations, planning and facilitating meetings and providing support for technical documentation

Working knowledge of configuration management and systems engineering principles

Demonstrated experience working in a fast pace environment in a very Agile way

Possess a working knowledge of available computer software package like Microsoft Office and SharePoint, and any other technology tools that ensures efficient work processes

Bachelor's degree in related field of Business or Systems Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' experience in scheduling

TS/SCI with poly clearance required
