Summary:

The ProjectManager is responsible for the business development, capture, andmanagement of task orders under our SeaPort-NxG Contract Vehicle. As the Project Manger, you will be responsiblefor all aspects of performance on our SeaPort-NxG vehicle including BusinessDevelopment, Customer Relationship Management, Task Order Management andProgram Management.

Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Develop, capture and assist withproposing on various efforts released under SeaPort-NxG, set aside for smallbusiness and within the full and open space

  • Workwith the Director of BD and BD Analyst to review and analyze task orders issuedand determine bid/no-bid decisions

  • Market company capabilities withinthe U.S. Navy as well as build strong teaming/partnerships with Industrypartners

  • Manage task orders awarded under ourcontract vehicle and personnel ensuring successful contract performance.

  • Responsiblefor identifying, marketing, developing and capturing new business.

  • Workwith the Business Development Director to track potential opportunities.

  • Leadthe effort to market vehicle and maximize revenue on contract.

  • Managepartner relationship, including opportunity registration, teaming strategies,and negotiating agreements.

  • Managequality of service delivery on task orders and ensure maximum customersatisfaction obtained, as quantified by CPAR ratings.

  • Collaboratewith company functional areas including finance, contracts, human resources,recruiting, subcontracts, quality, business development, proposal developmentand operations.

  • Collaborateclosely with the contracts administrator to perform administration of thecontract.

  • Otherduties as assigned

MinimumQualifications: (Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Science,Technology or other technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of relevant experiencemanaging IDIQs, MACs, or GWACs and Task Orders required.

  • Prior U.S. Navy with recent andrelevant experience at PEO EIS, SPAWAR, NIWC, and/or NAVSEA

  • Experience with U.S. Navy alongwith connections to various U.S. Naval offices, specifically the Navy PEO EIS,SPAWAR, NIWC, and NAVSEA.

  • Top Secret Clearance required

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of MicrosoftOffice Suite, Adobe Professional, and Microsoft SharePoint.

  • Experience with SeaPort-E a plus.
  • Ability to travel to customermeetings as needed.

  • Understanding of the U.S. Navyalong with connections to various U.S. Naval offices, specifically the Navy PEOEIS, SPAWAR, NIWC, and NAVSEA.

  • Understanding of GovernmentContracting, SeaPort-e or SeaPort-NxG a plus.

  • The employee will normally work ina temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure toelectronic office equipment.

  • During visits to areas ofoperations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborneparticles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
