Project Manager

Description:
Operations and Logistics Solutions (O&LS) is currently seeking a client-facing Project Manager (PM) to serve as the in-country PM, and report directly to the CONUS-based Program Manager (PgM), in support of the ASP/TSA program in Kuwait.

Responsibilities: 
In concert with, and minimal guidance from the PgM, the PM is overall responsible for the: day-to-day management of the program and personnel; the health, welfare, and safety of all employees; the use, care, and preservation of U.S. Government Furnished and/or leased facilities, property, vehicles, equipment, and materials; recommending development and/or improvement of new and existing tools, reports, and best practices for project management and execution; ensuring all required program and Corporate training is performed, documented, and submitted on time; and completing the weekly Senior Management Team (SMT) report and forwarding it to the PgM for review and submittal. 

In conjunction with and/or through the Operations Manager, the PM is further responsible for: establishing and managing work priorities and schedules to ensure adequate coverage across the program to facilitate successful performance of all PWS required tasks; seeking ways to improve operations to increase production and/or reduce costs; monitoring day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Department of the Army regulations, and applicable FAR clauses, as required; and maintaining a comprehensive physical security program for all facilities under the operational control of the program.

Internal and Client Facing Communications: 
The PM is expected to maintain regular communication with the PgM and, as required, other CONUS-based Staff members (e.g., Business Operations, Project Controls, and Database Admin); clearly communicate program expectations to team members and partners; prepare and present information to Senior Government and Corporate officials, orally and in writing (e.g., reports, briefings); client facing responsibilities include direct interface with Military and Civilian USG personnel, including the Munitions Management Branch for the 1TSC/Rotational ESC, the Regional Contracting Command-Kuwait (RCC-KU) Battalion Commander, Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO), Contracting Officer Representatives (COR), Quality Assurance Representatives (QAR) and Quality Assurance Specialist Ammunition Surveillance (QASAS) inspectors.  

Safety, Quality, and Production:
In coordination with the PgM and the Safety and Quality Managers, the PM is charged to: maintain comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality programs; ensure all OSHA and explosive safety standards are adhered to and required training is conducted and documented; ensure policies and quality manuals adhere to the requirements outlined in ISO 9001:2015; and enforce all policies and quality objectives.

Qualifications:
Qualification Requirements: 
To be considered for this position, candidates must have and/or demonstrate: a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university; a minimum of 12 years of experience in ammunition operations; a minimum of six (6) of the past 10 years supervising at least 25 personnel in logistics operations; a working knowledge of Automated Data Processing (ADP) systems and, within four (4) months of hiring, be proficient through day-to-day demonstrated performance and use of SAAS-MOD; the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance; fluency in speaking and writing English.
