Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Programmer Technician to join our team in the Washington, DC area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Responsible for developing, maintaining, documenting and operating programs for use on automated electronic data processing equipment.
• Designs and writes moderately complex computer programs to handle a particular user’s need. Prepares program specifications and system diagrams.
• Develops machine coding logic flow charts.
• Encodes, tests, debugs and installs the operating programs and procedures in coordination with the computer operator and user needs.
• Reviews test procedures and makes revisions and refinements to existing programs of an intermediate level of complexity.
• Assist users with day-to-day problems by troubleshooting moderately complex problems occurring in programs or databases.
• Operates computer system to check out programs; troubleshoot and test systems. May diagnose and solve moderately complex program problems.
• Codes, tests and installs program repairs needed to keep programs running on a timely and accurate basis. Prepares and maintains program documentation and production procedures for new programs.
• Presents a finished task with documentation and instructions for usage.
• Maintains communication with users concerning program problems.
• May work with Systems Analysts to obtain project specifications. Discusses designs that will meet their requirements. Assists users in use of programs and languages.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent, and four to five years of related (programming) experience. Associate Degree or equivalent preferred.

Security Requirements:
An active TS with SCI eligibility and JAFAN eligibility is required.
Qualifications
Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and four to five years of related (programming) experience. Associate Degree or equivalent preferred.Degrees
