Job Description Overview:


The PM will be responsible for managing profit and loss for all aspects of the program covering production and continued system sustainment support. The PM will align the program team to business and customer priorities and will provide clear direction and leadership to provide for excellence in execution.The PM will actively manage risk mitigation strategies and capture program opportunities.The PM will lead by example and champion program management best practices.The PM will produce proposals for new efforts and out-of-scope efforts to the program baseline. The PM will define program tasking/milestones and monitor adherence to program budgets, plans, and schedules.



This position reports to the Senior Program Manager responsible for Family of Programs with the Reconnaissance and Targeting systems (RTS) product area.



Roles and responsibilities:


·Interface directly with customer and managing customer expectations


·Provide leadership to the entire program team to meet contract deliveries including managing subcontractor relationships and assuring subcontract performance


·Partner with functional leaders to successfully execute and achieve all program milestones


·Prepare and present at regular internal and external program/status reviews


·Accountable for financial performance, forecasting and planning activities



Required qualifications:


·10 + years of experience covering contract & program execution.


·3+ years of recent, relevant experience as an Integrated Product Team Lead or Program Manager with Profit and Loss (P&L) responsibility


·Experience managing production programs while meeting financial, schedule and performance requirements


·Experience with integrating engineering, supplier & production processes as well as leading matrixed teams, as well as proposal, gate and start-up processes


·Program Management certification Level 3 or ability for be certified


·Earned Value (EVMS) qualification or certification


·Flexibility for occasional domestic and or international travel


·Working knowledge of export / import management processes


·Active DoD Secret


·6 Sigma Specialist Qualification

·Leading new business capture activities and winning new business in a competitive environment


·Excellent verbal and written communications skills to


·communicate business vision and strategy, program status, issues and associated resolution plans across all major stakeholders including Raytheon management, Customers and major subcontractors


·Excellent leadership and team-building skills including leading matrixed teams




Required Education:



Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math, Science or Industrial Discipline



This position requires a security clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
