Manages a medium to large-sized program for successful performance consistent with contractual agreements. Manages/develops the program budget, schedule and operating procedures, and manages program-level client interactions. Responsible for program expansion through leadership of proposals for new tasks/projects, and start-up and staffing of new program work. Leads and mentors multiple direct reports, who typically manage teams under a program-level vehicle, to grow the program leadership team. Acquires follow-on business associated with assigned programs/projects and supports new business development by leading or assisting with proposals. Works closely with customer(s) and team to ensure open and regular communication, both written and oral. Identifies new capabilities to present to customer(s) to grow business and leverages existing customer relationships to identify new customers that need current and new capabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes relevant experience and expertise to provide program management support

  • Manages and oversees all activities performed by Contractor personnel 

  • Provides management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the execution of this Contract.

  • Schedules meetings and provides deliverables.

  • Serves as the Government’s primary point-of-contact and provides technical supervision and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to support the NOSC.

Qualifications:

The PM shall be able to demonstrate the following knowledge and/or experience:

  • Understanding of operational and technical requirements of the NOSC.
  • Understanding of application and network systems similar to those operated by NOSC.
  • Managerial experience in an environment directing 40 or more technical staff members.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have demonstrated ability to present material to senior DoD and non-DoD officials.
  • C4 experience in a military headquarters or command center environment.
  • Master's degree in IT related studies
  • PMP certification
