Program Manager

Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to lead their Mobile Calibration Lab Support effort. The selected person should have relevant work experience to include responsibility for all aspects of the execution of managed programs including the technical, cost and schedule objectives and specifically the contract deliverables per the contract requirements.  The PM must be able to work with Business development personnel to identify and qualify opportunities to bid and to support capture management, bid and proposals in order to maintain a pipeline of contract activity and support.  In addition, this role requires current strong system engineering skills in order to manage program requirements and execute the development of a system that meets requirements, is well documented, well designed and fabricated.  At the same time, resources must be managed effectively and efficiently.  The selected person must understand and address all aspects of the program management lifecycle including not only requirements, design and development but also test, verification and sustainment.  Experience with aircraft survivability equipment (ASE) testing, threat missile simulator development and testing, missile warning systems, and infrared systems is also preferred.

 

Job responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating with the customer and other stakeholders on current programs and future support

  • Managing programs per SAIC standards and requirements

  • Representing SAIC at relevant conferences and Technical Interchange Meetings

Qualifications

The selected person must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or the Physical Sciences and at least 10 years overall experience and 5 years’ experience as a Program Manager of complex technical programs. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired. A secret security clearance is required.
