Program Manager (Fort Gordon, GA Location)

Join TASC, An Engility Company is seeking an experienced Program Manager. This position is located in Ft. Gordon, GA and requires an active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.

Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs. Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.

Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test.

Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer.

Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Works with the higher-level program manager, if applicable, to provide effective and efficient management of the Contractor's effort.

Allocates resources (staffing, facilities and budgets) on the contract.

Reviews and proposes the integrated Program Baseline (or resource loaded schedule) to the Government.

Reviews and approves all earned value, Estimate-To-Complete, Funds and staff-hour Expenditure Reports, or other financial reports, as appropriate. Reviews risk and risk mitigation activities and allocates budgets for the same.

Prepares program status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government PM Reviews and allocates management reserve within contractual limits.

Ensures the timely recruitment and training of program staff - both direct and indirect Reviews all financial and technical reports before release to the Government.

Ensures cross-discipline integration within the contract to meet the Government's needs Communicates issues and solutions to the Government PM in a timely and transparent manner.

Ensures compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff.



Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience managing program and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal government.
  • Must have at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring and reporting.
  • Shall have either a PMP certification, FAC-P/PM Entry Level or DAWIA Level l certification in Program Management.
  • Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR), DoD 5000 series and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 801 policies.
