Program Manager

Job Description:

Come join Leidos and our high-performance team in helping the Air Force solve some of its most challenging problems as a Program Manager working in Dayton, Ohio.

This is an opportunity for you to manage a large, high visibility program with a geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary engineering team working in state-of-the-art collaborative environments. The types and mix of projects under this high visibility program will change often, driven by customer needs. Thus we need you, our Program Manager to have a solid foundation in management principles, but an agility to adapt to often changing customer requirements and tasking. What you as our Program Manager will be doing on the job:
- Manage a multi-location, multi-disciplinary engineering team to include multiple subcontractors
- Lead the team in AGILE practices, and ensure the production and delivery of a wide array of contract deliverables.
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance for a diverse set of tasks being performed by staff from multiple technical and non-technical disciplines
- Work closely with the Government customers.

You will needs these to be successful in this role:
- Master's degree in engineering or engineering management with 10+ years or prior relevant experience
- 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams and/or projects
- Proven history of managing innovation in a high technology, fast paced, learning organization
- Record of successfully managing large programs and contracts for Department of Defense customers
- Must have a current SECRET clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
- Experience with AGILE development methods
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Evidence of continuous learning of new business areas, technology, and methodologies
- PMP Certification

- Current TS/SCI Clearance
- Experience with the application of Systems Engineering principles
- CSEP Certification
- Experience with technology transition from the laboratory to the user community
