JOB SUMMARY: Program Manager
Responsible for managing all aspects of the contract, including planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives within cost, schedule, and scope constraints/requirements. Act as main focal point for all CDRLS. Direct contract team personnel, manage cost and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as the main customer interface. Provide clear direction and leadership of OCONUS Team Lead (TL) and training and operational support team for Northern VA customer, including all aspects of task and personnel management and oversight.
Prior management experience required, candidates must possess 15 years experience including Program management experience and minimum 8 years of experience working on relevant projects or programs, with at least 4 years serving successfully in supervisory/lead positions such as a Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, or Team Lead. 5 years’ experience with contracts and sub-contracts management and personnel management and recruiting also required. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, especially writing skills. Candidates must be able to work under tight deadlines. Must be able to perform job requirements independently and in team environments and must have ability to interface with all levels of customer and Leidos personnel/management. Proven successful personnel management skills required. Must have TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Minimum education level is a Bachelor’s Degree but a Master’s Degree is preferred
• Technical and/or Business Master’s Degree preferred
• PMP certified
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of customer and mission area.
• Demonstrated experience managing Sponsor programs or other USD programs of similar scope or scale.
