What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Provides on-site project financial management/administrative support and coordination with project task(s) and/or business units.
  • Duties may include project accounting management, project schedule interface and reporting to management. 
  • Supports development of project spend plans, and provides monthly status updates. Interfaces with program and financial leadership teams regarding development, execution, and statusing for assigned budgets and funding. 
  • Supports project estimates, including allocation of procurement materials, equipment, production costs.

More About the Role:

  • Provides support to Program and Financial Managers in the preparation and analysis of monthly forecast, invoicing, and EACs.
  • Ensures compliance with internal procedures and government procurement regulations.
  • Supports development of program plan requirements and directs or performs studies to determine optimum program financial plans.
  • Implements financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate and report project/program status to established plans, as well as ad hoc financial analysis to support program/project requirements.
  • Monitors progress of program financial requirements. Monitors cost performance against plans to ensure contractual cost obligations are met.
  • Prepares financial/administrative reports and submits to project and program managers for internal management requirements, as well as development of contract deliverables.
  • Provides transactional and pricing support to programs as needed.
  • Supports complex financial analysis (variance analysis, risk analysis, etc.) in support of contract requirements.
  • Provides Liaison between program operations and other procurement and administrative support organizations on financial issues. Interfaces with subcontractors, vendors, and customers.  
  • Supports local facility administration and purchases of equipment and supplies as related to contract requirements.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • MUST be US Citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
  • BA/BS degree and 5 or more years of financial management experience or  
  • An Associates Degree plus 4 years' additional work experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
  • Must be adept at using MS Office spreadsheets to perform financial management.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Deltek, Cognos and P2P
  • ACTIVE DoD Secret
