Program Deployment Support Specialist

LG- TEK is growing and there is an increased need for Program Deployment Support Specialists with TS / SCI Poly clearance.  The Program Deployment Support Specialist will provide assistance, communication, and anticipate requirements to enable successful outcomes to deployed personnel. They will also  provide assistance to returning personnel in completing return scheduling and transportation requirements

Responsibilities
  • Assist government personnel in fully preparing (pre-, post-, during) for hostile deployments, develop strategies, plans and reporting metrics
  • Desk Officer/Administrative duties entail communication with selected individuals, their supervisors, program managers, selection officials, deployment partners, and stakeholders to fully prepare and support deployment personnel
  • Ensure data integrity (100% accuracy) and maintenance of approximately 450 to 550 annually deploying personnel profiles and records using government systems
  • Records management for scheduling and accountability with daily input data into government systems
  • Coordination and sharing of information regarding movement and scheduling of deploying personnel with the DRC Accountability team and other stakeholders
  • Deployment processing to include briefing requirements and pertinent information, scheduling appointments, travel arrangements, and trouble-shooting
  • Schedule Combatant Commands (COCOM) required administrative training and appointments and maintain an accurate Deployment checklist
  • Provide assistance, communication, and anticipate requirements to enable successful outcomes to deployed personnel
  • Provide assistance to returning personnel in completing return scheduling and transportation requirements
  • Process travel vouchers, DD form 1351-2, and review and submit timesheets for processing, externally assigned and returning personnel
  • Provide clear and concise travel card counseling and serve as back up to pay and benefits briefer
  • process government forms for processing of State Department required training
  • Provide administrative back up support for DRC personnel to include The Accountability and Travel Team, Desk Officers, and Office Manager

 

Qualifications
  • 1 year of Human Resources experience
  • Experience updating personnel databases
  • Experience in preparing briefings and presentations; scheduling appointments; preparing for training activities
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Able to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of web content management system (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint
  • High school diploma minimum
  • Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) membership a plus
