Program Control Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Compile and review budgets for the firm's corporate or organizational units using actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration. Prepare financial plans for the firm, monitor the implementation of financial policies, prepare regular and special purpose reports, maintain historical records, analyze trends, establish cost rates and personnel forecasts, recommend and interpret budgetary policies and procedures, prepare comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determine a rationale for variances between costs and budget. Leverage the limited use and application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Apply comprehension of industry practices and standards. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures and conduct closely supervised work.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with financial management

-Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and its effective use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment
-Ability to discuss and resolve administrative and financial issues effectively within a team environment 
-Ability to multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced, changing environment
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Active Secret clearance preferred
