Program Analyst


SAIC is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill a Military Program Analyst position providing advisory and assistance services in support of US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Capability Manager for Space and High Altitude and the Future Warfare Center of the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) in support of all aspects of capability development .  This position will be located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.

The mission of the TRADOC Capability Manager (TCM) for Space and High Altitude and the Future Warfare Center of the US Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) is to support all aspects of capability development including but not limited to conducting analysis; determining, prioritizing, and documenting requirements for doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, facilities, and policy  (DOTMLPF-P) ; supporting the development of concepts and plans; facilitating the conduct of studies, tests, training, and exercises; and enabling the integration of  Space and High Altitude  capabilities into the Army and Department of Defense.

This support includes, but is not limited to providing or performing planning and analysis as they relate to these functional areas:

  • Advocate for and manage Space and High Altitude capability requirements.
  • Identifying and documenting capability gaps, technology developments, urgent need initiates.
  • Preparing and staffing Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents.
  • Synchronizing DOTMLPF-P solutions.
  • Coordinating with material developers.
  • Assist in decision documentation preparation such as briefings and supporting materials (white papers, fact sheets, status reports, progress reports, and information papers).
  • Stakeholder coordination through the execution of Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams.

  • Must possess an active Interim Secret Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; 10 years' work experience in select fields may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Nine years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with conducting DOTMLPF-P analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills. 
  • Ability to clearly express ideas/concepts.
  • Demonstrated capability to operate in a multi-task environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Products.
