Job Description

The Boeing, Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a Product Acceptance Specialist to join the Integrated Quality team in a dynamic electromechanical and electronic assembly environment. This Level C position will report through the Argon ST Quality Assurance department & be located in Smithfield, PA.

 

 

Position Responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Verifies product conformance to design requirements
  • Provides objective evidence of results
  • Validates work instructions, tooling requirements, certifications, process standards, policies and procedures
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies and segregates and controls non-conforming items
  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance
  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification
  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action

Qualifications

Work Authorization:

This position requires an active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

 

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Active / Current Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary to support factory and operations activities 
  • Experience reading, understanding, and interpreting basic engineering drawings and specifications

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • IPC training and experience with IPC J-STD 001 and IPC 620

 

Typical Education / Experience:

High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

 

Relocation:

This position is based in Smithfield, PA and relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates, if authorized.
